One of the Philippine's biggest and colorful harvest festival celebrated every 15th of May. Pahiyas Festival is rooted in the traditional celebration of the townsfolk in thanksgiving for bounty harvest. Decorations called "Kiping", leaf-shaped and multi-colored rice paste wafers which is used to decorate the facades of the homes along with fruits and flowers from nature.

Depart Manila to Sariaya Quezon, approximate three (3) hours travel time. 

Arrived at Sariaya, Quezon - it is tagged as the Heritage Town of Quezon and Art Deco Capital of Southern Luzon for its extant heritage houses and structure built in Art Deco-styled architecture scattered mostly in town proper and also well-known for its delicacies such Pinagong, Broas, Apas, Leche Puto, Yema and more. Proceed to Casa Plaza de Sariaya for breakfast. 

After breakfast, proceed to Sariaya Pahiyas Festival Town Tour. Then, visit Don Catalino Rodriguez Ancestral House also known as Villa Sariaya. It was declared by as one of the Heritage House by the National Historical Institute (Now called as the National Historical Commision) of the Philippines. It was owned by the 1908-1909 Town President, Don Catalino Rodriguez. This house has already been transformed into a museum. 

A 30 minutes travel from Sariaya, you will arrived at Tayabas City. Experience one of a kind festival called Mayohna Festival. This festival gives tribute to San Isidro Labrador  with a procession. This is a form of thanks giving by the people since most of them were farmers, for giving them good harvest. Suman is the ritual gift for Hagisan. It is cooked with great enthusiasm by the peolpe in Tayabas because it is an opportunity to share their properity. 

Lunch will be served at Memphis Garden Cafe

After lunch, proceed to Lucban, Quezon.

Enjoy the Lucban San Isidro Pahiyas Festival it is a grand display of colorful rice wafers, fruits, vegetables and handicrafts adorning the house in town. The highlights of the festival is a procession along the the street of the image of San Isidro Ladrador, to ensure the people's bountiful harvest in the coming season. Take a delightful snacks at the Original Buddy's Restaurant. 

Before heading back to Manila, drop by at souvenir shops for pasalubong.
